What We Do:

- to ensure that all individuals are given the opportunity to volunteer, regardless of race, gender, age, beliefs, sexual orientation, ability or disability

Does your Organisation need Volunteers?
- Advice is always on hand for those with little or no experience of using volunteers and who need guidance on issues like expenses, references, insurance and general Good Practice.
- To publicise your organisation's volunteering opportunities to a wider audience through www.do-it.org.uk, download and complete both the organisation and the volunteering opportunity registration forms and send these to Havant Volunteer Centre (details are on the forms):

Havant Volunteer Centre invites you to celebrate and acknowledge the time and energy given by volunteers in your organisation at an event at The Civic Offices in Havant at 12.30 on Friday 6th Aug 2010.
This event is being supported and sponsored by Havant Borough Council, and Councillor Yvonne Weeks, Mayor of Havant, will be presenting award certificates to nominated volunteers at the ceremony. Entertainment and light refreshments will be provided. Places are limited. As this is always a popular event, do ensure you send in your nominations as early as possible and no later than Thursday 1st July 2010.
