What do we do ?
Supported by Hampshire County Council and Havant Borough Council we aim to improve transport for the elderly and disabled by offering where possible a door to door service for clubs and groups in the Havant area. Many local groups, for example Club Hampshire, Age Concern lunch clubs and various residential homes, use our minibuses.

Minibuses
We have a fleet of minibuses, seating from 12 to 16 passengers all have either a lift or a ramp to allow easy access for wheelchairs and passengers using walking aids. All our drivers receive additional (MiDAS) training in driving minibuses and the needs of passengers with mobility problems as well as passenger safety and wheelchair access.
The minibuses are available for hire all year round and the hire costs include a qualified driver and all fuel. Alternatively a member of your group could hire a minibus self-drive (Please note all drivers must be over 25 years of age and hold a current British drivers licence and Midas qualification.

MiDAS Training
We have qualified trainers who are able to provide Mini Bus Driver Training and assessment. Using our training facilities and either our mini buses or your own. We also provide passenger assistance training as required to meet your needs under the MiDAS scheme. A charge is made for this training.
Volunteering Opportunities
If you have a full clean drivers licence and are aged 25 - 65, are in good health and would like to help us or one of our groups by providing your time either driving or assisting passengers. Please contact our volunteer bureau on 023-9248-1845.
